The TurnAround Team, Inc. Board Meeting

Rob Banks, Vice-Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Attending: Rob Banks, Karen Hiller, Alex Kovalchuk, Barbara Leal, Roy O’Neil, Don Rice, Delores Smith, and Don Taylor.
Financial Report
Rob presented the November financial report. The total balance is $50,627.42. The unpledged assets are $790.22 which represents the working bank account balance.
Project Ideas
The meeting was a discussion of various projects which may have TAT involvement.
- Washburn-Lane Parkway – Work on the Phase IV TE funding is on hold for now; A group will work on banners along the parkway; A group will work on the monuments; A group will work on the north garden. Karen Hiller, Don Taylor, Don Rice, and Kem Sloop.
- Aaron Douglas Art Fair – September 8 is the date of the next art fair; There will be a meeting on 27 January for a 2006 wrap up; The insurance will cover us through the 2007 event. Karen Hiller, Don Rice, Alex Kovalchuk, and Barbara Leal.
- Code Enforcement – A group is put together to work with the City on strengthening code and educating groups about how code issues work; Education programs are going to be an emphasis. Rob Banks, Deborah Swank, Karen Hiller, and Roy O’Neil.
- Public Art – Work to promote it; Coordination with other groups; Talk of setting up a trolley tour. Deborah Swank, Roy O’Neil.
- Web Site Expansion – Work with neighborhood groups for hosting; Coordinate calendars through Alex. Alex Kovalchuk.
- College Hill Redevelopment – Monitor the activities of the redevelopment; Ensure Master Plan items are incorporated. Delores Smith will chair.
- Bylaws Committee – Review the bylaws. Delores Smith, Betty Dunhaupt, and Don Taylor
Barbara Leal discussed briefly issues within Tennessee Town NIA Willie Wilkins will be the new president.
College Hill NA bought fifty banners 28” x 40” for $30 each. Delores will get more information if other groups want it.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
