The TurnAround Team, Inc. Board Meeting – 11 October 2007

Deb Swank, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Attending: Rob Banks, Tom Ellis, Karen Hiller, Alex Kovalchuk, Barbara Leal, Robbie McDowell, Roy O’Neil, Duane Pomeroy, Don Rice, Delores Smith, Deb Swank, and Don Taylor.  

1. Attendees introduced themselves for the new members.

2. Financial Report
Don Rice presented the financial report.  He had talked to Mike Faler, VP of customer Relations at Core First about CD rates.  For $5,000 a 7-month special is 4.75%.  Don Rice made motion to move $5,000 to a Core First 7-month CD; seconded by Delores smith; Motion passed unopposed.  Rob and Don will have signature authority.

3. Announcements
A. Recognitions – get information to Don Taylor for the October general meeting on the 22nd.
B. Discussion of a College Hill Business District marker.  Janet Zoeble, Washburn professor, talked about desing concepts.  Looking at a marker on the “point”.
C. College Hill Parade of Homes will be on Sunday.
D. Chesney Park is starting work on the next section of the mural wall.
E. Old Town NIA is working on 501(c)3 status.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
