Duane Pomeroy called the meeting to order at 7 PM.
Present were: Tom Benaka; Rogers Brazier; Sally Kahle; Alex Kovalchuk; Roy O’Neil;
Duane Pomeroy; Don Rice; Delores Smith; Don Taylor; and Heidi Zeller.

1 – Don Rice presented a financial report and passed around the 2007 IRS-990
filing. Motion to accept the financial report; Passed unopposed.
2 – Heidi Zeller presented a capsule report of the cultural planning she
accomplished under her contract.
3 – Delores Smith briefly discussed some of the funding issues surrounding the
Aaron Douglas Art Fair.
4A – A Bylaws Review committee was formed with Delores Smith, Don Taylor,
Duane Pomeroy, and Roy O’Neil.
4B – Discussion of General Meeting Topics
January – Code Compliance;
February – Police Department / Safe Streets;
March – City Elections forum;
April – Recognitions;
May – Historic preservation in collaboration with the library;
June – Heartland Visioning;
July – Pool party / Pot luck;
August – Arts in the city;
September – Aaron Douglas Art Fair (no general meeting);
October – Recognitions;
November – Annual meeting / Elections;
December – No meeting.
