TAT Board Meeting – 10 December 2009 Duane Pomeroy called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. Present were: Sally Kahle; Alex Kovalchuk; Duane Pomeroy; Delores Smith; and Don Taylor. 1 – Delores gave the financial report. No substantial changes from last month. 2 – Five people on Aaron Douglas Art Fair committee have stepped down. 3 – Sally reported on the Washburn-Lane Parkway grant application. The application is mostly done. A discussion of the time line for meetings and a request for support from TAT members at those meetings. 4 – Discussion of 2010 meeting topics: January – Shawnee County Sheriff; February – Code Compliance; March – no meeting for spring break; April – TOTO by HCCI; May – historic subject joint the TSCPL; June – recognitions; July – social event; August – TBD; September – Aaron Douglas Art Fair; October – candidates’ forum; November – annual meeting; and December – no meeting. 5 – Discussion of general issues: Advocacy; Information dissemination; Revisit Heidi Zellers’ report; Washburn-Lane Parkway monuments; Aaron Douglas Art Fair; and “Cords & Oil”. 6 – Chesney Park is looking into putting up banners on the parkway lights in their area.
