GENERAL MINUTES OF TURNAROUND TEAM MEETING

The TurnAround Team, Inc. General Meeting – 24 October 2005

Deb Swank, Chair, called the meeting to order at 7 PM. In attendance were 22 people.

  1. Don Taylor gave a report on the status of the TEA-21 application for Phase IV of the Washburn-Lane Parkway Lighting Project. A resolution will be before the City Council on the 25th to apply for funding.
  2. Delores Smith reported on the status of nominations. At next month’s meeting we will have elections.
  3. Deb Swank reported that the story board panels were ordered about 4 weeks ago. They will be delivered to the Parks & Recreation Department who will coordinate installation.
  4. A brief discussion was held about the College Hill Redevelopment initiative. A vote on including the infrastructure line item in the CIP will be on November 8th.
  5. Deb Swank briefly discussed some houses of interest in the central Topeka area that are available.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
