| Rob Banks, Chair, called the annual meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Present were twelve people. |
1 - Bylaws Revisions
Proposed revisions were discussed. Changes will be presented at the January
meeting. Don will check the bylaws against the corporate papers to look at the
size / makeup of the Board.
2- Board Election
Motion was made and seconded to elect the board as presented. Motion passed
without opposition.
3 - For 2008 our focus is going to be more strategic planning. We are trying to
get more involvement from neighborhood groups / people.
4. Washburn-Lane Parkway Master Plan
Janet Zoeble, Degginger’s Foundry, discussed options and ideas for a
monument / marker at the north and south ends of the parkway. She is working
on signage design / materials / location / size / scale. General discussion of
overall concepts.
5. Announcements
511 license plates have been stole this year. Safe Streets / WIBW will install
tamper resistant screws.
HCCI will host a Foreclosure workshop on December 7th.
Don will get with Deb to see who printed the metal “banners” on the
demonstration leg.
The January meeting will be a potluck.
Washburn University is willing to offer community based organizations legal
consultations. This will be the February program.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.
