(TOPEKA, KS) The Topeka Turnaround Team announces the first Aaron Douglas Art Fair: A Celebration of Community, planned for Saturday, September 9th, 2006 from 11am until 4pm at the Aaron Douglas Art Park, 12th and Lane. The fair will be free and will include artwork for display and for sale, music, food and children’s activities. Kansas artists, particularly local ones, are sought from the sectors of Youth, College-Age, Over 25, Senior and Professional. The art will be juried and an application fee is required.
