We've found out that there are 2 main events and some other events that are happening on September 9th the day of the Aaron Douglas Art Fair. One of them is Black Expo which is a 3 day event before/during and after our event. We plan on talking with them. And the Huff and Puff. The Huff and Puff is an event that is usually in the early morning and late evening. So... that shouldn't be a problem/conflict.
Some of the things so far that are either in progress or happening are:
Generated an electronic hand bill to the website.
Making community connections to recruit some artists for the Art Fair.
The Aaron Douglas Mural in the Art Park, the time line page is now corrected and available to view.
Working on T-Shirts for a final design.
Looking for Tent(s) for cover, still working on the details. Artists should suppy their own. These are more for the Fair needs.
Working out the details for our vendors ... yes there'll be food there! We have one vendor committed and some others interested.
