General Meeting July 2008.
The July 28 Turnaround Team meeting will feature the 3 candidates for the 2nd District County Commission seat. They are Vic Miller, Owen Kennedy, and Michelle Brokaw. We will have opening remarks, questions from the audience, and closing comments from each. It is important that we have good attendance as the county commissioners usually hear more from the rural constituents than the majority of Topekans in their districts.

The board meeting is at Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library on the second Thursday of every month at 7pm.
The public meeting is at Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library and is usually the fourth Monday of the month at 7pm.
People who are interested in improving the quality and image of Central Topeka, particularly people who live in or own property in the Central Topeka area from Monroe to MacVicar and 21st to the Kansas River, are particularly encouraged to attend. For further information, call 234-2883.
